Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Buenos Aires and Arrival to Salta
Ensure a hassle-free journey from your hotel to the airport with our reliable transfer service. Travel in comfort and arrive on time for your flight (If Flight option is selected).
Airfare from Buenos Aires to Salta (If Flight option is selected)
Experience the breathtaking views right from your arrival with our transfer service from Salta Airport to your hotel. Our designated transfer will welcome you to Salta and provide comfortable transportation from the airport to your centrally located 4-star hotel.
Get ready for a charming tour of Salta. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you will explore the city’s most captivating sites. We will start by strolling through the charming streets of the historic center, stopping to admire iconic places such as the majestic Salta Cathedral, the elegant Church of San Francisco, and the lively Plaza 9 de Julio. Then, we will ascend to Cerro San Bernardo, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
We’ll also visit the charming summer village of San Lorenzo, located just outside the city. Here, you can explore the Artisan Market.
Later we will take you back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 2: Fullday Cafayate
Embark on an unforgettable experience that will take you through captivating landscapes and vibrant culture! We will pickup up in the morningg at your Hotel and start your adventure begins in the charming Valle de Lerma, where fields of tobacco and picturesque colonial-style towns, invite you on a journey back in time.
You will be amazed by the fascinating formations shaped by wind and water. Every corner tells a story that will ignite your imagination.
Next, we continue to Cafayate, the jewel of the Valles Calchaquíes, renowned worldwide for its exquisite wines.
Day 3: Fullday Tour Purmamarca & Salinas Grandes
Your day begins with an early departure from Salta, as you embark on a full-day adventure to explore the natural wonders of Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes.
Sit back and relax as you journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Lerma Valley, enjoying panoramic views along the way.
Here, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking Cerro de los Siete Colores, the historic church, and the vibrant artisan market in the square.
After wandering through this picturesque village, we’ll ascend the scenic Cuesta de Lipán, leading us to the stunning Salinas Grandes—one of the most popular destinations in the Puna region of Jujuy. This incredible landscape, where shimmering white salt flats meet a vivid blue sky, is a sight to behold. You’ll even have the opportunity to observe the fascinating process of table salt extraction.
We will enjoy a night of accommodation in Purmamarca.
Day 4: Quebrada de Humahuaca
We depart from the charming city of Purmamarca to embark on a fascinating journey through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the vibrant colors of the hills blend with the rich cultures of the region. This tour offers a deep connection to the history and ancestral traditions.
Along the way, we will pass by the historic Posta de Hornillos and continue towards Huacalera, where we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn. We will visit the impressive Church of Uquía, renowned for its magnificent paintings of the Arcabucero Angels, created by the Cuzco school.
We will arrive in Humahuaca, home to its majestic Cathedral and the iconic Monument to Independence (El Indio), a tribute to the region’s history. After enjoying a delicious lunch (Lunch not included), we will return while admiring the stunning Palette of the Painter that frames the picturesque village of Maimará.
Finally, we will head back to Salta to enjoy a magical night in this beautiful city.
Day 5: Transfers and return to Buenos Aires
In the morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, savoring the last moments of your stay in Salta.
Your designated transfer will provide seamless transportation from your hotel to Salta Airport, ensuring a stress-free departure experience.
Airfare from Salta to Buenos Aires (If Flight option is selected)
Welcome back to Buenos Aires! After your exciting tour, relax and enjoy a smooth transfer from the airport to your hotel. Our professional driver is ready to ensure a comfortable journey back to your accommodation (If Flight option is selected).
Pick-up
If flight option is selected, we will pick you up at your accommodation in Buenos Aires (centrally located hotels).
If flight option is not selected, we will pick you up at Salta Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Martín Miguel de Güemes) / Accommodation. Please, you should arrive no later than 2:00 pm.

All of our tours/activities are non-refundable. Cancellations or modifications are not allowed.How do modifications work?
No changes or modifications are allowed. Do packages include flight tickets? Flights or air tickets, which means, the flights from and back to Buenos Aires, are optional.
